@Gakuyukai was established on November 5, 2011 as an expansion of the Alumni Association Liaison Council that had been established in August 2006, by joining to the core alumni associations registered alumni associations organized by the graduates of Kanazawa University at working areas, geographical areas, students' dormitories, and OB's and OG's club.
@This is an integrated organization of those alumni associations, while all of the conventional alumni associations corresponding to the schools and divisions keep their independent activities.

ŸPurpose
@The purposes of this organization are to promote matual exchange and friendship among alumni by enhancing nationwide exchanges and serving as a cooperation center for key alumni associations, to support education and research activities of the university, and to contribute to the advancement of the university and to domestic and international societies.

ŸActivities
@The Gkuyukai rule defines its activities as shown below. The board of trustees shall discuss and decide on specific actions. Cooperation for the implementation of the University's home-coming day, support for the establishment of new alumni associations and the issuansce of graduate cards will also be involved.
(1)Activities concerning the promotion of communications and collaboration around key alumni associations throughout Japan.
(2)Supporting activities by key alumni associations and support for the establishment of the new alumni association.
(3)Supporting collaboration with the University and education and research activities of the University.
(4)Activities for gathering information on alumni associations and graduates and providing university information.
(5)Other activities to meet the objectives of this organization.

ŸOrganization
@Officers include the chairman, vice chairman, representative trustee, trustees and auditors. In addition to the officers, an honorary chairman and advisors may be appointed. The service term for officers is 2 years, and general assembly meetings of officers and the board of trustees shall be held. General assembly meetings of officers shall select the chairman. One representative form each registered alumni association can attend the general assembly meetings and express his/her opinions.

ŸAccounting
@This organization's expenses shall be paid using the revenue from its activities and donations. Core alumni associations mey be requested to bear necessary expenses after consultations with the general assembly meetings of officers, but in principle, registered alumni associations may not have obligation to bear any expenses.
