Scholarship Information

Scholarship programs available for privately financed international students are as follows.
Notification on information concerning scholarships will be posted or provided by your college or graduate school.

Scholarship programs by scholarship organizations

Various private organizations call for scholarship applications by international students through the universities where the students are enrolled. The number of scholarship recipients is limited, however, and notably, in almost all cases, research students (non-degree courses) are not deemed eligible to apply for a scholarship. For privately financed international students who wish to apply for a scholarship that requires candidates to be recommended from the university, calls for applicants will be made in June and October for applications for the next school year. However, applicants in October will be limited to only those students who were not able to apply in June.
